Joaquin was reaching out for a ball under the table and hit his head. He immediately ran to me and asked me to kiss his “owie”. As i hugged him and kissed his boo-boo, he walked away comforted and was ready to play again.
When Nathan was a year old, I made up a song that I sing everytime he got hurt. I’ve been singing it all these years to my other kids. I still sing it to this day for my little Joaquin.
