preparing your son and daughter

A few years ago, my husband, Paolo, went through the book “Preparing your Son for Every Man’s Battle” by Stephen Arterburn with our then 13-year old Nathan. Nathan says that the book was helpful because it answered a lot of questions he had as he was going through puberty. honesty by default

Heard a story from my friend about his 13-year old son, Marco. In class, Marco got the highest score at a long exam. But upon going over his test paper, he realized that his teacher overlooked one mistake. Now he was faced with a dilemna. No one else knew about that mistake. And his teacher already announced to his class that he got the highest score. It was so tempting to just be quiet about it. Our kids will be faced with a lot of situations where important decisions have to be made and we won’t always be there to tell them what to do. That’s why it is so important to train them early.
